LA’s July 4 Festivities: A Growing Tradition
Los Angeles has a long-standing tradition of hosting July 4 celebrations, with events dating back decades. The city’s fireworks displays are among the most popular in Southern California, often drawing crowds of over 100,000 people. Recent years have seen an increase in outdoor festivals and community events, partly driven by efforts to make celebrations more inclusive and family-friendly. The 2026 festivities follow a period of heightened public interest in large-scale outdoor gatherings after the pandemic disruptions.
“Our festival offers a great mix of food, music, and family activities, and we expect a big turnout for the fireworks at night.”
